SARDVA supports children with any kind of disabilities that is Blind, Dump and Deaf, Cripples, Albinisms, Autism, Cerebral pulse, Personality Disorders and Epilepsy. We had done this without discrimination of color, beliefs, ethnic and tribes. Most of disabilities children are kept in locked door not to be seen by the people because of fear due to customs and taboos that that to be with disability children is curse from ancestors punishment from God due to bad mistake done by him/herself or grandfather/grandmother...
So they being isolated or separated from society and community they are living. If married she got divorced or husband run away not to be closed with that disability child. Sometimes he/she mother run away and left the child with grandfather/grandmother. At that time mother/caregiver feel frustrated and depressed to take care to the child with scarcity of needs for health and rehabilitation. The treatment and rehabilitation processes very expensive. Furthermore, it is hardly to get national health insurance fund because it seemed they are more cost fully to cover their health than the other normal children. Otherwise they should be included in the family which is expensive and the family is poor economically. Most of them are not employed and some who were employed they forced herself in order to be care the child especially those who having cerebral pulse. Their life is very challenging for this reason some are stay in traffic lines to the town where they can get manual work such as clean windows car, cleaning houses or wash clothes and paid small amount of money for food and care the child.
Some they ask to the somebody to accommodate her and her child and work free from them at least to get room where to leave with her child. At the first time to meet with the disabled children we found them in a critical condition we start assessment to identify his/her needs then we sort them accordingly.
